SCIMS online
This service provides access to the Survey Control Information Management System (SCIMS), however surveyors and other professional users are encouraged to login to the Survey Services Portal (SSP).
The SSP provides clients with quick, cost-effective and reliable access to existing services; including ePlan, SCIMS, Document and Plan Inquiries, plan advice, lodgment of survey reports, and lodgment and download of survey control Locality Sketch Plans.

In order to log in at http://scims.lands.nsw.gov.au/scims.html you must be a licensed user (see http://scims.lands.nsw.gov.au/licence_frames.html ) and charges may apply to results of searches - see details of fees.
SCIMS contains coordinates and related information for survey marks established under the direction of the Surveyor General and is maintained for the purposes of cadastral boundary definition, engineering surveys, mapping and a variety of other spatial applications.
The datum used for the horizontal position of survey marks is the Geocentric Datum of Australia 1994 (GDA94) at www.icsm.gov.au/icsm/gda/index.html. Coordinates are provided as easting and northing values on the Map Grid of Australia (MGA) projection or as latitude and longitude (geographic).
Where available, heights of survey marks relate to the Australian Height Datum 1971 (AHD71) at www.ga.gov.au/nmd/geodesy/datums/ahd.jsp
Accuracy statements (class and order) are assigned to each position and height. Other related information includes details of mark types, eccentric / witness marks and trig stations.
To assist with locating survey marks, an image may be viewed showing individual marks plotted over the State's cadastre, or a detailed locality sketch plan may be ordered (delivery by fax or email).
Results of all searches may be viewed on screen, printed or downloaded in a number of common file formats.
