Printed maps
Lands produces a series of hardcopy topographic and tourist maps of NSW.
Topographic maps
Topographic maps show contours, spot elevations, streams roads, buildings, place names, vegetation and administrative boundaries. They are used by emergency services, environmental resource managers, engineers and others, for planning , development and recreational activities.
Lands produces a standard topographic map series for NSW in the following map scales:
- 1:25,000 series covering the coast and ranges
- 1:50,000 series extending over the western slopes and central region and
- 1:100,000 series covering the far west region.
Touring maps
Ideal for motorists, we publish a series of four hardcopy touring maps that cover:
- New South Wales
- North Coast
- Central Eastern region and
- South Coast
National Parks maps
Our National Parks map series includes information on parks, camping and picnic sites, history, flora, fauna and topography.
Waterway map
We publish a waterway map of the Hawkesbury River, which shows navigational information, fishing and water sport location, wharves and topographical information.
