With experience in commercial and public sector print finishing, our staff have the qualifications and training to ensure a high quality finished product.
Print finishing
Our print finishing area is primarily a finish binding section where offset printed products such as maps, documents, and brochures can be folded, collated, bound and trimmed. The services provided by our print finishing area include:
- Cutting to any size via guillotine
- Large format folding
- Small format folding
- Single hole drilling
- Wire binding
- Traditional sewing and binding
Thanks to our collating, stitching and trimming facilities, we are ideally suited for short run book production. We also offer folding and trimming of single sheet products such as maps and brochures.
Restoration and hand binding
Restoration and hand binding is performed at both our Bathurst and Sydney locations. We use only the most highly skilled staff for our restoration work, as many documents date to early settlement years and are of significant historical value.
Our restoration binding area performs the hand restoration binding of land title documents into volumes. We also restore old books, plans and documents where the copy is in poor condition and needs repairing. For that finishing touch, we offer a hand binding service to bind loose pages together (e.g. reports, council minutes or university thesis').
Framing, laminating and foamcore mounting
In addition to traditional binding services, we offer standard framing services and foamcore mounting. This service is popular for use with aerial photography enlargements and display-style posters to ensure protection of documents. Our services include:
- Gloss and/or matt laminating of hardcopy originals
- Foamcore mounting of hardcopy originals (these can also be laminated)
- Framing of hardcopy originals
- Specialty mounting of hardcopy originals
