Pre press
Our pre press area is equipped with the latest in electronic publishing including high quality scanners, large and small format film image setters, a fully networked plate setter, and precision digital colour output. Operating in both a Mac and PC environment allows our pre press team to accept files from a wide range of sources and applications.

We have fully qualified graphic designers and pre press tradesmen with extensive experience in commercial and public sector publishing.

Photography
In addition to design, Graphic Services also offers a professional studio photography service. Customers can commission on-site photographs or studio product shots in both film and digital format. A digital image offers clients a cost-effective and timely service where high quality images can be delivered electronically within minutes of being taken.
Pre press bureau
From first receiving client information via disk, email or scan, we ensure that all data is accurately translated through our electronic systems to the press. Once a design is approved, we can digitally output files on plates, film, paper (colour or black and white) and disk (CD, DVD, ZIP or Floppy).
Our plate making capability has recently been upgraded to a digital computer-to-plate (CTP) workflow. This system enables more timely and cost effective plate production than a traditional system by removing the production of film from the process. It also has the advantage of using one file to generate proofs, plates and ink specifications.
